The Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for performing patient testing across all laboratory areas and maintaining laboratory instruments. They must also conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and ensure the confidentiality of patient health information.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in a science field (Bachelor's preferred), MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification, and BLS/CPR certification. Experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunohematology is preferred.
The Clinical Lab Scientist is responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments, conducting quality control and proficiency testing, and performing patient testing across all laboratory areas, while ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive patient health information (PHI).
8 hours per week - First Shift
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
On-Call Rotation: MT (ASCP) or Equivalent
Associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological or laboratory science, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Previous experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology and immunohematology is preferred.
