Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Registered Nurse to join our upscale plastic surgery center!\n\n\n\nA bit about the position: Promotes and restores patients' health for H/K/B patients by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families. Shifts are 8-10 hours between the hours of 6:00 am - 7:00 pm, two days a week. \n\nWhat you can expect in the role:\n\n * Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.\n * Helps preop patients prior to surgery, circulate during surgeries and recover patients post-surgery.\n * Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.\n\nWhat we are looking for in a candidate:\n\n * 1 year of PACU experience and 1 year of OR circulating experience required .\n * Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.\n * Equivalent combination of education and experience.\n * Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.\n * Industry experience a plus.
