Home Health Aides provide personal care and supportive light housekeeping services to individuals in the community in the privacy of their home.
Essential Functions
Provide health related services as outlined in the plan of care authorized by a physician and established by a registered nurse or licensed therapist under the direction of the Aide Matrix established by the NYS Department of Health.
Provide assistance with personal hygiene, housekeeping and/or other related supportive tasks to a patient with health care needs in his/her home.
Immediately report changes in client’s condition to supervising professional.
Ensure the safety of the patient, patient’s family and/or the employee.
Maintain HIPAA.
