Rehab Aide : Hoag Cllinic Newport Beach Physical Therapy

• Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• The Rehab Aide assists with patient care services and departmental functioning in a designated department under the direction of a licensed therapist or assistant.
• This role maintains the department, the ordering and cleanliness of equipment, and keeps supplies stocked and ready for use.
• Recognizes and prevents environmental hazards from impacting the patient and clinic.
• Performs basic patient care tasks which may include proper use of exercise equipment, exercise and training technique under the direct supervision of clinician and reinforces therapy education.
• Contributes to the department safety and regulatory accreditation requirements.
• Observes patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and reports changes and pertinent data to clinical staff.
• Provides care in multiple clinical settings.
• Assists with orientation of volunteers and staff.
• Supports the operations of the front and back office.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
