The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with unit and patient care needs under the supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities include managing patient health information and accessing medication storage areas.
Candidates must be high school graduates with a current BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross. Must be in good standing with the NC Department of Health and Human Services and be physically able to lift 30 pounds.

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
High school graduate Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing. Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
