Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in the Village of Clarkston, MI, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with light housekeeping and errands to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisory staff.
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Village of Clarkston, MI job sites.
• Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
