Research Trainee

Responsibilities

Learn and adhere to lab safety standards, policies, and protocols Under direction of Investigator, works with lab staff to learn laboratory procedures specific to aims of research Carries out independent reading relevant to research being observed or performed Generates clear and complete records of experimental work Communicates results at research meetings Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures

Qualifications

Education Enrolled in college with an emphasis on science curriculum. required Experience High school level courses in biology, chemistry, or equivalent scientific discipline required With increased responsibility, college level courses in similar disciplines required Future career focus on biological sciences desired
