Overview Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Dartmouth Health Medicine Center are seeking a staff physiatrist with great clinical knowledge and a commitment to provide high quality patient care to join its CARF accredited physiatry program. The organization is committed to the appointment and support of a highly promising individual who will bring special interest and skill to the practice of multidisciplinary physical medical and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

BC/BE Physiatry Residency trained; additional fellowship training welcomed as well Experience and interest in musculoskeletal (MSK) care Additional experience in EMGs and Trigger Points would be preferred but not required Must obtain or maintain a VT and NH Medical License. Outdoor Recreation Everywhere you turn in the Upper Valley, outdoor activities abound. Mt. Ascutney State Park is just a short drive from Windsor, with campgrounds and trails up New England’s tallest freestanding mountain. The area is home to numerous golf courses, ski resorts, waterways and more. Arts and Culture A vibrant arts scene enriches life in the Upper Valley, with studios and galleries across the region, concerts and craft shows, and the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Site just across the country’s longest wooden covered bridge to Cornish, New Hampshire. Family Friendly The schools of the towns of the Upper Valley and Connecticut River Valley are well supported by their individual communities. New England’s four seasons provide a backdrop for pursuing a wide assortment of sports for children and young adults, from soccer, football and field hockey to downhill and cross-country skiing, skating, and ice hockey; from basketball and lacrosse to track and field and baseball.
