The coordinator is responsible for the recruitment strategy and community engagement for the P3 research study, utilizing both in-person and online outreach. They provide peer navigation to PrEP, manage client files, and conduct pre- and post-intervention assessments.
Requires at least two years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates must be comfortable conducting outreach via social media and dating apps and possess knowledge of HIV/AIDS issues.

Program Overview CCAMBA subcontracts with Columbia University on the research project P3: “Estimating the Impact of a Multilevel, Multicomponent Intervention to Increase Uptake of HIV Testing and Biomedical HIV Prevention among African American/Black Gay, Bisexual, and Same-gender Loving Men.” CAMBA oversees recruitment for the study and provides substance misuse and HIV/hepatitis prevention navigation, including navigation to PrEP, for study participants. A Recruitment Coordinator who identifies with the community of focus conducts in-person and online outreach to their peers through dating apps/hook up sites. The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment and delivery of peer navigation to PrEP of P3 study participants.
