Overview Occupational Therapist – Acute Care Travel assignment in Waimea, Hawaii, US. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,930–$2,041 with guaranteed hours of 32 per week.

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and provide occupational therapy services for ADLs, ROM, strength, and functional performance for inpatients and outpatients.
Develop and implement physician-referred OT plans of care; deliver direct OT treatments and maintain progress notes.
Provide therapy services across domains including activities of daily living, gait training, upper-extremity function, sensory integration, and equipment fitting as indicated.
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to coordinate screenings, treatment plans, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
Educate patients, families, and staff on OT recommendations; participate in program planning, documentation, and outcome tracking.
Contribute to department operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and participate in ongoing staff education and quality improvement activities.

Availability to work Saturdays (as part of the assigned schedule)
Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting with both inpatients and outpatients
