The RNCC is responsible for guiding cancer patients through the healthcare system and coordinating care across multiple providers. They perform patient assessments, deliver medical care, and help patients understand their treatment plans.
Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia. At least 1 year of RN experience is required, with BLS certification mandatory.
These roles involve patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. May work across various healthcare settings, such as hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health organizations. Responsibilities include the delivery of medical care, supporting patients and their families, and ensuring the effective functioning of healthcare teams. Requires Registered Nurse certification.
