Provide support to mental health staff by assisting patients with daily living skills, personal hygiene, and group activities. Responsible for safely transporting clients to and from the facility and reporting clinical issues to staff.
Provide support and assistance to mental health service staff for patient care activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the transporting of patients to and from facility, meal provisions, supervision of patients during staff break periods, Assist patient group activities as requested.
Provides support to patients for assistance with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
Responsible for reporting/communicating to clinical staff any problematic or clinical issues observed while on duty.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in mental health patient care. Must possess a valid Class R driver's license and obtain BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
