Activities Assistant

Join The Ivy of McKinney as a Part-Time (weekends only) Activities Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day. In this onsite role, you will help create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for residents by planning and leading activities that promote social connection, cognitive stimulation, physical activity, and emotional well-being. We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and energetic team member who enjoys working with older adults, especially in a memory care or senior living setting. Responsibilities

Assist with planning and leading daily activities for residents Support games, crafts, music, events, and wellness programs Encourage resident participation and engagement Adapt activities for seniors with memory loss or cognitive impairment Set up and clean up activity spaces and supplies Work closely with staff to create meaningful resident experiences

Qualifications
