The Physical Therapist provides quality rehabilitation services to residents in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include performing therapy, assigning tasks to assistants, and documenting services according to Medicare regulations.
LifeSpan Therapy, a CarDon & Associates partner, is now seeking a PHYSICAL THERAPIST.
The Physical Therapist provides compassionate and quality rehabilitation services to residents under the directive of a physician and in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team.
The PT performs therapy or assigns resident to a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), communicates sufficient information about the treatment plan to nursing and other personnel to assure a team approach.
Documents therapy services and writes progress notes in accordance with Medicare Regulations.
When low census, must be willing to travel within a 30 mile radius to provide therapy coverage. (Mileage/time reimbursed).
If a therapist is hired as a Float therapist, all Float therapists can be asked to travel to any LifeSpan/Cardon community (travel time reimbursed).
