Toxicology Specimen Collector

Maintains stock of specimen collection supplies at assigned specimen collection locations. Collects, labels, packages, and transports specimens to the laboratory. Enters orders and retrieves toxicology results from the LIS and EHR. Works with providers to ensure proper patient screening frequency and retrieve records from Board of Pharmacy as necessary.

Qualifications

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Junior College/Technical School is preferred
• WV Clinical Laboratory Practitioner (POCT) is preferred

Experience

• No Previous Experience is Required
• Up to 1 Year Experience is preferred
