The Mental Health Therapist provides direct face-to-face therapy services and crisis intervention to consumers. Responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, developing treatment plans, and maintaining documentation according to Department of Mental Health standards.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. A professional license (such as LPC, LMFT, LCSW) or eligibility for a DMH credential, along with a valid driver's license and clean background check, is required.

CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to consumers in assigned program according to program requirements and participates in center programs as needed.
Master's Degree in Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Must possess a professional license (LPC, P-LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LMSW) or be eligible to earn a DMH credential as a Mental Health Therapist, Intellectual and Developmental, Disabilities Therapist, or Addictions Therapist (as appropriate to the service and population being served). Must maintain a valid MS driver’s license. Must pass a criminal background check
