The Nurse Practitioner autonomously and collaboratively manages patient health problems through comprehensive assessments and diagnoses. They develop care plans and utilize prescriptive authority to ensure quality patient care across various settings.
Candidates must have a Master's or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner and a valid NP license. A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a primary care setting is required.
Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient's health problems and serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illness and disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Experience: 1 year clinical experience functioning in the nurse practitioner role in a primary care setting
Either a Masters or Doctoral level as a nurse practitioner.
