The Registered Nurse coordinates medical care and develops plans for individuals with disabilities across residential homes. Responsibilities include monitoring medication administration, conducting medical audits, and providing health education to direct care staff.
A valid Massachusetts RN license and knowledge of community service delivery for the DD population are required. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
MA RN License (required) Knowledge of case management systems, community service and delivery systems for DD population (required) Attention to detail and excellent time management skills (required) Strong clinical communication skills are essential (required) Minimum of 1-year experience working with DD adults in long term car or human service agency (preferred) Experience with staff training and development (preferred) Language Skills Ability to verbally communicate. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and write documents. Ability to respond and navigate common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or family members.
