The Veterinary Assistant is responsible for safely handling patients, assisting with surgical procedures, and performing diagnostic tests such as phlebotomy and radiographs. They also maintain accurate patient records and provide professional communication and education to clients.
Two years of veterinary experience and a Veterinary Technician License are preferred. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
