The LPN is responsible for administering direct patient care, including monitoring vitals, wound care, and medication administration. They also document patient history and oversee nurse aides and medication aides on the night shift.
Candidates must hold a valid Practical Nursing license in Oklahoma or a compact license and a High School Diploma or GED. Physical ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods is required.
Administer patient care including but not limited to monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, and wound care Medication administration Communicate with patients and authorized personnel Document patient history and maintain health records Participate in treatment planning Assist with medical procedures as appropriate per training and license Prepare patients for transfer and discharge Oversee nurse aides and medication aides on staff under your charge QualificationsJob Qualifications: Practical nursing license in good standing in the state of Oklahoma, or compact with Oklahoma High School Diploma or GED Proficiency in written and verbal communications skills Ability to lift greater than 50lbs Ability to bend, twist and squat on a regular basis Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Basic computer skills including typing, adapting quickly to new software, ability to look at a computer screen for long periods
