The physician is responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and injuries for patients within the OB/GYN Hospitalist department. They must maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality assurance and patient satisfaction programs.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and have successfully completed a residency. Required credentials include board certification or eligibility, a state medical license, and a DEA number.
