Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma preferred. Licenses/Certifications: (None) Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Five (5) years of clerical experience, with at least three (3) years directly related to the assignment. Some supervisory skills are preferred. Principal Accountabilities Develops and produces reports, letters, memoranda, minutes and other departmental correspondence. Maintains and updates departmental files. Ensures the timeliness and proper distribution of reports and other communications for area of responsibility. Orients and trains employees regarding system and hospital policies and procedures. Identifies and responds to problems with appropriate action and follow-up. Ensures safe care to patients, adhering to policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity, and accuracy of practice. Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experience staff. Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
