Summary: This pharmacist position will provide pharmaceutical care to patients to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes; promote cost-effective drug therapy management in emergency situations; work closely with technicians, nurses, and medical staff to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to acute car areas.
The pharmacist will: adhere to the general hospital standards to promote cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building, assist with verification of medication orders and distribution of pharmaceutical products; coordinate and participate in the education of pharmacist and other health care professionals in regards to pharmacotherapy; initiate and/or participate in medication utilization evaluations; participate in the drug therapy management in emergency situations.
