Requires a high school diploma or GED with the ability to communicate effectively. Previous Medical Assistant experience and certification are preferred.
Plays a vital role in healthcare settings by providing both administrative and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and other medical staff. This position prepares patients for examinations, takes vital signs, assists during medical procedures, and performs routine office duties including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and processing insurance documentation. Medical Assistants ensure efficient clinic operations while delivering high-quality patient care.
