Requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical/Life Science or a related field and certification from ASCP, AMT, or AAB. Candidates should have less than 2 years of experience and a strong understanding of laboratory methodologies.

Role Purpose The Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) II performs specimen processing and routine / complex testing on blood and other specimens which requires a knowledge and understanding of quality control, basic instrument maintenance, and procedure methodologies and reference ranges. Maintains appropriate documentation of all activities as required. Demonstrates good clinical laboratory practice
