The provider autonomously and collaboratively manages patient health problems through comprehensive assessments and diagnoses. They develop care plans and provide clinical leadership within the scope of nurse practitioner practice.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner and possess a current RN license. Certification as a nurse practitioner and eligibility for prescription privileges are required.
Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patient's health problems and serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illness and disease. Performs other duties as assigned.
