The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS assists physicians with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures, serving as a monitor, scrub, or circulator tech. Responsibilities include interpreting EKGs, operating imaging equipment, and managing patient safety and lab maintenance.
Candidates must have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent healthcare experience. Required certifications include AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support, with RCIS certification required within six months or ARRT and TX RT(R) credentials.
