The Clinical Anesthesia Technician is responsible for the set-up and turnover of anesthesia environments across various operating rooms and procedural areas. They provide essential support to ensure safe patient care in locations such as the OR, ICU, and Emergency Department.
A high school diploma and BLS certification are required for this position. Experience as an anesthesia technician or in general patient care, along with a clinical technician program completion, is preferred.
Position Title: Clinical Anesthesia Tech (Part-Time)
Purpose & Scope: The Clinical Anesthesia Technician assists and provides for safe patient care by establishing set-up and turnover in the Main Operating Room (OR), Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVOR) and other Anesthesia environments.Assists and provides for safe patient care in the other procedural areas / anesthesia environments. Establishes set-up, turnover in Obstetrics ORs, Bronchoscopy, PACU, Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Radiology, Emergency Department, Endoscopy Department, ICU, CVICU and Cath lab.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a clinical technician program is preferred.
