Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek is looking for a Housekeeper who understands that a tidy, comfortable home isn't just a nice thing to have — for our residents, it matters deeply. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position paying $14.50 – $15.00/hour. Weekend availability is required. About Our Community We’re a small, freestanding memory care assisted living community in the heart of Dallas, near I-35E and the Dallas North Tollway off Oaklawn Avenue. Our community is home to 44 residents, all of whom are living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. We are an age-in-place community, which means you’ll have the privilege of building real relationships with residents across the full spectrum of memory loss — from early stages through end of life. The work is meaningful, and the people you’ll meet along the way make it worth it. What You’ll Do You’ll be responsible for keeping our community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. Follow cleaning schedules for resident suites, laundry, kitchen, and common areas Provide laundry services as needed Monitor and communicate supply, chemical, and equipment needs to the Maintenance Director and/or Executive Director Report observed maintenance issues and repairs needed; maintain required records Follow infection control procedures and maintain safety and sanitation standards Observe and communicate changes in resident status, needs, or preferences to the appropriate team members Adhere to HIPAA/confidentiality requirements and all established policies and procedures Attend required in-service trainings and assist in training other team members on housekeeping systems and standards as assigned QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Prior housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare or senior living setting Comfortable working around individuals with dementia with patience and compassion Ability to work independently and manage tasks without close supervision Weekend availability required Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly; 50 lbs occasionally Benefits Free meals Free uniform shirts Direct deposit Health, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance Paid time off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek is a warm, resident-centered community dedicated to enriching the lives of those living with memory loss.
