The Clinical Care Coordinator performs radiographic imaging and assists providers with patient treatments and health service delivery. They act as a liaison between patients and providers while managing clinical equipment and maintaining patient records.
Requires at least 2 years of experience as an x-ray or radiology technician and a Certified Medical Assistant credential. Must hold Basic Life Support certification and the necessary medical licenses to operate in Georgia.
The Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) operates under the guidance of the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Director of Nursing. The CCC is responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to obtain X-ray images of patients, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring minimal radiation exposure. The CCC identifies patient needs and under the Provider’s direction, ensures the efficient delivery of health services and smooth patient care flow. Additionally, the CCC assists providers in patient care and treatments, introduces patients and their families to the healthcare system, and acts as a liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers
