Provide direct care and supervision to residents to ensure their safety, well-being, and community integration. Facilitate individual programming, medication administration, and daily household management while providing supportive counseling and crisis intervention.
Candidates must be able to provide guidance and training to residents and maintain accurate clinical documentation. The role requires the ability to work 1pm-9pm shifts across two different sites.
Under the direction of the Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) Residential Supervisor, the Mental Health Worker is a direct care position that will provide for the safety and well-being of each resident within the home and facilitate community involvement/interaction in cooperation with the residents, staff and administration. The CRR Mental Health Worker will facilitate implementation of general and specific household and individual routine/programming while serving as a role model for the resident population. In partnership with the CRR Residential Coordinator, the CRR Mental Health Worker provides a continuum of services, including system advocacy, informational/referral, supportive counseling, family and resident education, and crisis intervention / stabilization.
