The counselor is responsible for completing substance use assessments for DCP&P caregivers and coordinating appropriate treatment referrals. They must maintain detailed progress notes, update NJSAMS, and ensure consistent communication with DCP&P regarding client status.
Candidates should possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or a CADC certification. Proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus, along with knowledge of substance use disorders.
