The Registered Nurse delivers high-quality compassionate care by assessing patient needs and developing collaborative care plans. They are responsible for direct patient care, monitoring progress, and providing essential education to patients and families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NYS RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. At least one year of acute care experience in Med/Surg is required.
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is offering 13-week travel contracts for RNs at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital located in Penn Yan NY
Health Insurance available at the first of the month, after 30 days Day/Night and Weekend Rotations 12 hour shifts rotations 7a-7p/7p-7a
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
License: Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Basic Coronary Care
1-year acute care experience required in Med/Surg. Moderate Sedation Competency, Analytical skills to assess, prepare, implement and evaluate the outcomes of the plan of care of patients / families. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Computer literacy
