The Peer Recovery Coach facilitates conversations to help members create and meet recovery goals while promoting a recovery-centered culture. They also respond to critical mental health or addiction emergencies using high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be a Certified Peer Specialist (Oregon's Traditional Health Worker Certification). Additionally, one year of experience supporting behavioral health challenges and lived experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system are required.

The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served that assist the members to explore, create, and meet their own recovery goals. Peer Recovery Coaches provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member’s point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming. Additionally, Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.
Shifts Available: Days and Shifts will vary
Expected starting wage range is $18.69 - $22.52. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Rhone Street is an OHA-licensed five-bed residential treatment program that provides a stable home environment for people who are transitioning to more independent living. Services will be provided in safe and homelike environments that recognize the dignity, individuality, and right to self-determination of each individual. The residents will have goals of recovery, self-reliance, and independence, and staff will work collaboratively with the individual both in house and in community settings to develop the individual self- described goals.
