The RN is responsible for identifying patient needs through assessment and planning and delegating care accordingly. They must evaluate patient responses to care and remain accountable for outcomes during their assigned shift.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Alabama licensure. BLS certification is required by the end of orientation, and ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire.
Overview The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Education: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.
