Provide comprehensive care for neonates in a Level III NICU, including delivery room attendance and various invasive procedures. Collaborate with physicians to diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical conditions for the neonatal population.
Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with active Michigan licensure and national certification. Candidates must have NRP certification and at least one year of experience in neonatology.

Education Requirements: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics) Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program Licenses & Certifications: Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Michigan National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP]) Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Michigan National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Experience: While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty Additional Notes: Locum tenens APP positions are temporary assignments, often lasting weeks or months, to address staffing shortages in hospitals, surgical centers or other healthcare facilities These positions offer competitive pay and flexible schedules, allowing APPs to pursue diverse work environments and control their workload
Travel: If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full.
