The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect care responding to the physical and psychological needs of members. Responsibilities include implementing individual service plans according to Medicaid standards within an acute inpatient setting.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards.

Shifts Available

On-Call | All Shifts

  • AM: 7am - 3:30pm PM: 3pm-11:30pm,
  • NOC: 11pm- 7:30am | Days vary as needed

Expected starting salary is $23.00. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Depending on what shifts you are asked to work

Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift). Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift)

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one (1) year experience in mental health setting

Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminologies

Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge

Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.

Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma with two years of psychiatric experience or a bachelor's degree with one year of mental health experience. Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and knowledge of basic nursing skills or a CNA certification.
