Coordinates and provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation according to nursing standards. Leads and assists other nursing staff while managing discharge planning and patient rehabilitation.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current Pennsylvania RN license and BLS certification. Endoscopy experience and ACLS certification are preferred, with procedural sedation training required within six months.
Shifts: Varied with Call Time
Must possess nursing knowledge to effectively assess patients, formulate patient plan of care, implement and evaluate care and record completely. Must possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, family and other members of the health care team. Must possess the necessary abilities to perform the essential functions of this position and complete the established orientation process. Must demonstrate ability to utilize hospital computer system. Must possess understanding and commitment to service excellence and performance improvement.
