Provide technical support and assistance within the operating room during surgical procedures. Ensure the sterile field is maintained and surgical instruments are properly managed.
Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technician program with NBSTSA certification or equivalent military/professional experience. Requires BLS certification and 10 or more years of experience.
Special Qualifications Must be a graduate of an program for Surgical Technicians and hold Certification administered by the NBSTSA or complete appropriate military training program for surgical technology or provide evidence of employment to practice surgical technology in a health care facility in SC prior to 1/1/2008 or is in the service of the federal government, to the extent the person is performing duties related to that service. Ten (10) or more years OR experience required. BLS certified.
