The technician is responsible for the assembly, preparation, and positioning of perioperative equipment for surgical procedures. They also handle the technical maintenance and appropriation of various operating room equipment.
Candidates must have the ability to learn technical aspects of OR equipment maintenance. Successful completion of the hospital OR orientation and the first 90 days of employment is required.
