Job Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for identifying, assessing, and treating patients with cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders. The SLP also provides counseling/education to patients, caregivers, and staff regarding cognitive-communication and/or swallowing disorders. Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults who exhibit cognitive-communication disorders and for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults who exhibit feeding/ swallowing disorders.

Requirements

Masters Degree-Speech Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Must be obtained within 9 months for full[1]time employees and 18 months for part-time employees.
