The RN provides care to adult patients with complex medical conditions across various hospital units, including Med/Surg and the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include patient assessment, implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a valid MN RN license, and BLS certification, with ACLS required within six months. A minimum of one year of Med/Surg acute care experience is required.
This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the Night shift with an every third weekend rotation (F,S,S) and a holiday rotation.

The RN is responsible and accountable for patient assessment, analysis, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention application, and the identification and evaluation of outcomes for patients of all ages and populations. Conducting ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition and/or the hospital policies, procedures or protocols and prioritizes care accordingly. Establishing and implementing nursing care plans for each patient through assessment, development, activation, evaluation, and discharge. Prioritizing, delegating, and maintaining oversight of duties and responsibilities of other staff members as a team leader. Maintaining confidentiality in matters related to patient, family, and facility. Demonstrating the ability to deliver care or service by adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. Collaborating with patients, families, and health care team members.
