The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary care, including health promotion, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. They collaborate with a healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Candidates must be a licensed or license-eligible Nurse Practitioner in Texas and board certified by AANP or ANCC. While new graduates are welcome, prior experience in primary care, internal medicine, or pediatrics is preferred.

The Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care services, including health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic health conditions. This role works collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with CLS Health’s standards of excellence.
Perform comprehensive health assessments, including history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide care for acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring continuity of care. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Texas state regulations. Counsel patients and families on wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies. Document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and timely. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
