Operate X-ray, CT, and mammography equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases or injuries. Responsibilities include preparing patients, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining clinical records and equipment.
Requires an Associate degree in radiological technology, ARRT registration, and a current state X-Ray Technology license. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience and BLS certification.

Reports To: Clinical Radiology Manager
Successful candidates will be required to obtain other modality registries if not already obtained upon hire.
This position is responsible for operating X-ray, fluoroscopic, mammography, and computed tomography equipment that assists radiologists and/or physicians with diagnosing and/or treating disease and/or injury.
Associate degree in radiological technology from accredited X-ray technologic program. Current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license. BLS certified
One to three years of experience as X-ray technologist preferably in medical practice environment.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required.
Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement. Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology.
Skill in identifying equipment problems and correcting or notifying supervisor. Skill in following infection control and radiological safety procedures.
Full Time Non-Exempt Monday through Friday Common work schedule is 8 AM - 5 PM Rate of pay is dependent upon experience and current registries obtained upon hire.
