Assists professional nursing staff in providing patient care and supporting activities of daily living. Provides emotional support and performs complex clinical skills under professional direction.
Requires completion of a nursing assistant course, current Nursing Assistant Certification, and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross. Six months of experience is desired.
Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
