Assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs by preparing equipment and stock for medical cases. Maintain, order, and sterilize anesthesia supplies while performing regular safety checks on equipment.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and CPR certification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an Operating Room or Anesthesia Department.
Adjunct full time position to assist anesthesia department in day to day maintenance of stock and equipment.
Duties: & Responsibilities:
*Assists anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) by setting up equipment and preparing stock items for cases.
*Orders, stocks, and maintains anesthesia supplies, and equipment.
*Washes and sterilizes re-usable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
*Performs safety checks on anesthesia equipment and assists anesthesia personnel as needed.
High School Diploma/GED required.
Certification: CPR required
2 years experience in Operating Room or Anesthesia Dept required.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Knowledge of Inventory processes.
