Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician at VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital Schedule: Full-time opportunity.
Day/ 1st shift schedule opportunity is 7am -8 pm Compensation: $18 - 32/hr, and the starting range for technicians is determined by licensure, skill set, and years of experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technician who enjoys utilizing advanced technical skills, critical thinking, and compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
In This Role, You Will: Provide exceptional nursing care to emergency and critically ill patients.
Collaborate closely with Criticalists, ER Doctors, Specialists, and fellow technicians.
Perform triage assessments and assist with patient stabilization.
Utilize advanced technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, diagnostic imaging, laboratory diagnostics, oxygen therapy, and blood transfusion support.
Monitor hospitalized and ICU patients, recognizing subtle changes in patient status and communicating findings to the medical team.
Assist with emergency procedures and advanced treatments.
Educate clients and provide clear discharge instructions.
Help create a positive, collaborative environment focused on outstanding patient care.
