Short Description The Certified ER Technician , under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and supports the overall plan of care.
This role involves direct communication with and support for the healthcare team, patients, and their families or significant others.
The position requires maintaining high standards of professional ethics and contributing to the delivery of quality patient care within the organization.
Experience Required Able to complete phlebotomy and EKG training if not a part of the core curriculum of the certification course within 90 days of hire- will be offered through the organization.
Education Requirements Successful completion of Patient Care Technician training and have an active Patient Care Technician Certification.
License/Certification Requirements CPCT-A required American Heart Association, (AHA) CPR Certification required Special Requirements Rotating shifts, days, nights, holidays and weekends.
