• JOB SUMMARY: Performs ultrasound examinations of diagnostic quality of all types including obstetrical, abdominal, gynecological, cardiac and vascular.
• Maintains patient records and performs documentation as appropriate.
• This individual interacts with patients of all ages.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School graduate or equivalent; Graduate of an A.M.A. approved course of study in Medical Sonography. Licensure/Registration/Certification: Registered with RDMS or registry eligible. Work Experience: Past experience as a medical sonographer preferred, but new graduates may be acceptable. Working Conditions: Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity Occupational: Some occupational risk Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
