Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to telemetry inpatients, including assessment, planning, and ongoing evaluation
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry data, and respond to dysrhythmias per unit protocol
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, and document interventions in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care, escalate concerns, and ensure patient safety and outcomes
• Administer care in a med-surg/telemetry setting with consideration for acuity and staffing ratios; respond to emergencies and participate in rounding and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission; NURSYS license verification for all active RN licenses
• BLS required; NHISS needed prior to start; ACLS preferred - 1–2 years minimum Med-surg experience; tele/telemetry experience preferred; open to CCU candidates who are fluent with med-surg ratios and acuity
• Up-to-date resume including 2+ years of experience in the specialty and documentation of travel experience
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required; on onboarding, a dysrhythmia exam with a preferred score of 80% is required
• Driver’s license with address matching demographics
• RTO (time off) requests must be included at submission
